Quality is our first priority

A “Quality is our first priority” campaign has been implemented through out the company. We believe that quality is “built in” and not “inspected” into the product. Quality testing is performed on every unit to ensure against potential water leaks, systems failures or manufacturing defects.

When we stamp “OK to Ship” on our products, you can rest assure they are built right with Quality as our first priority!

Every Ultima Trailer Undergoes the Most Rigorous Testing in the RV Industryis

There is a simple reason why we claim our EverGreen Utimas weigh less, are built with greater integrity and are more durable than lesser brands and backed by a better warranty—it’s tested true. EverGreen puts every trailer through an extensive testing program. In fact, the Ultima is one of the most tested units in the industry. At EverGreen, we don’t do random testing; we test each and every trailer.

1. Holding Tanks and water drains are filled with water to the flood stage and checked for leaks. 10. Wheel torque and tire PSI, lug nuts are tightened and tires are inflated to manufacturer recommended specifications to ensure a safe and smooth ride.

2. Water Supply Lines are pressurized to achieve 30 psi.

11. Rain Test requires each trailer be tested in our “rain booth” by dumping six inches of water on the trailer in 12 minutes. Spray comes at the trailer from all sides to ensure it is watertight. Technicians are inside the vehicle looking for leaks during the test. After the test, the vehicle is inspected for seepage. This test is conducted with the slide-outs in the fully extended and retracted positions.

3. Propane Gas supply lines are pressurized to 3 psi and tested for leaks.

12. Exterior Lighting is checked for proper function.

Electrical Testing - PDI

4. Electrical System is tested using a Hi-Pot tester and subjects the 240-volt system to 1,080 volts. 13. Final Propane Test, the system is filled with propane and the system is checked for leaks.
5. Electrical polarity, the physical operation of each light switch, outlet and 240 volt outlet is tested. 14. Appliances are turned on and checked for full operation.
6. All doors and windows are locked, Sealtech equipment draws in air from a vent and pressurizes the inside. Once pressurized, the exterior seams are sprayed with a soapy water mixture to check for leaks. In the residential market this is commonly known as a Blower Door Test. 15. Wheel torque and tire PSI (Second Test)

7. Electrical System (Second Test – Works like a charm)

16. Weight is tested by placing each unit on a calibrated scale. Then the weight is recorded and posted inside the passenger side wardrobe door.

8. Water supply line and fixtures (Second Test – High and dry) 17. Waste Water Drainage is tested. No unit is shipped until it passes 100 percent of all tests.
9. Propane Gas (Second Test- Can’t be too careful)
